Popular B2B Cashmere Searches, Sorted by Buyer Intent (GSC-Verified, 90-Day Window)
What global cashmere buyers actually search for, grouped by intent: yarn spec, garment OEM, accessories, quality grade, origin — drawn from our Google Search Console 90-day query log with impressions and positions.
Popular B2B Cashmere Searches, Sorted by Buyer Intent (GSC-Verified, 90-Day Window)
Between July and September 2026, Google sent buyers to our site through 175 distinct search queries — 661 total impressions, ranking from position 1 to 100. The long-tail queries (3+ tokens) account for 80% of impressions but only 22% of clicks, which tells us two things at once: there is real demand for specific cashmere sourcing answers, and most of the demand is not yet being captured by pages on our site or anyone else’s.
This post sorts those 175 queries by buyer intent, not alphabetically. The point is to show sourcing teams what their peers are looking for, and to map each cluster to the page on our site (or the blog we are about to publish) that actually solves the underlying problem. If you are running a sourcing query and your target word is here, the linked resource below the section will move you forward.
How We Sorted the Queries
We filtered the 90-day query log to the queries with at least 2 impressions and grouped them by intent signals — yarn specification, garment OEM, accessories, quality grading, brand, compliance. We excluded brand-only head terms like cashmere (which has no informational intent) and bot-internal patterns like <>, <1>, <2>. The five intent buckets below cover 565 of 595 filtered impressions (95%). Within each bucket, queries are sorted by impressions descending.
A note on position and CTR: a query at position 5.6 with 0% CTR is not a ranking problem, it is a snippet mismatch problem — the page exists but does not match what the buyer is typing. A query at position 55 with 24 impressions is a content gap problem — no page on the site really covers that word. Both are addressable, but the fix is different.
Bucket 1 — Yarn and Fiber Sourcing (149 impressions, 26 queries)
The largest cluster by volume and the cluster with the worst click-through performance. Buyers searching for yarn specifications — count, ply, fiber state, machine vs hand knits — are the most numerous audience on our site, and they are the most underserved.
kaschmir turtleneck— 58 imp, position 28.6, 0% CTR. German-language query, transliterated as Kaschmir + English product noun. Buyer intent: sourcing a cashmere turtleneck for a German-speaking market. We do not have a German-language turtleneck product page; we should.cachemire 2 fils ou 4 fils— 34 imp, position 32.7, 0% CTR. French: cashmere 2-ply vs 4-ply. Buyer intent: a French buyer trying to understand ply count before ordering. The information exists in English on our yarn formulations post but not in French.undyed cashmere yarn wholesale— 24 imp, position 55.3, 0% CTR. English B2B sourcing of greige (raw state) cashmere. We have not a single page on undyed / greige yarn.stock supply worsted 100% cashmere yarn for machine knitting— 12 imp, position 3.0, 0% CTR. The most actionable number on this list. We rank page 1, position 3, and still get 0% click-through. The page we rank with is our yarn formulations page, but the title says formulations not worsted stock yarn for machine knitting — so the snippet does not match the query. Title rewrite would lift this to 5–10% CTR immediately.undyed cashmere yarn— 11 imp, position 63.5. Same gap.cashmere yarn wholesale— 10 imp, position 35.8. Generic yarn sourcing query.cashmere wool yarn wholesale— 7 imp, position 28.6. Buyer trying to compare cashmere vs wool yarn at wholesale tier.greige yarn— 7 imp, position 42.0. Industry term for undyed loom-state yarn. B2B audience only.worsted cashmere yarn— 4 imp, position 43.8. Generic worsted yarn query.worsted weight cashmere yarn— 4 imp, position 55.2. US-market phrasing for the same product.cashmere yarn sale— 3 imp, position 45.7.cashmere yarn clearance— 3 imp, position 48.0. Buyer expects cashmere / discount / overstock — we should have a clear overstock page or accept the traffic mismatch.26nm— 2 imp, position 6.5. Yarn count specifier. We do rank; the snippet is fine; the volume is just low.dehaired— 2 imp, position 16.5. Industry-process term.cashmere fiber, cashmere yarn, cashmere yarn china, cashmere yarn manufacturer, cashmere yarn supplier, cashmere yarn for knitting, cashmere yarn for hand knitting, cashmere yarn worsted weight, worsted cashmere, worsted spinning mill— generic yarn sourcing terms.
What this cluster tells us: yarn buyers are searching in long-tail currency that the industry is underserving globally. A dedicated passenger post on worsted cashmere yarn for machine knitting, with German and French subtitle variants, would absorb this traffic on our site within 60–90 days. We are drafting that pass.
Bucket 2 — Accessories: Shawl, Scarf, Beanie, Hat, Leggings (142 impressions, 76 queries)
The second-largest cluster. Accessories are the most-searched cashmere product on our site after yarn, but most of the queries are too generic for a product page — they need a category-page explanation that walks the buyer through the variants.
100 cashmere shawl— 50 imp, position 21.3, 0% CTR. Buyer looking for a 100% pure cashmere shawl. Our scarves-and-shawls category page exists but the snippet does not feature the 100% qualifier.cashmere leggings— 30 imp, position 21.9, 0% CTR. Same gap.leggings cashmere— 17 imp, position 13.3. Same buyer, phrased differently.cashmere accessories— 4 imp, position 87.0. Generic term, broad queries, not enough search intent to rank.100 cashmere scarf— 10 imp, position 22.4. Same pattern as shawl.cashmere shawl— 6 imp, position 29.0. Generic.cashmere trousers— 4 imp, position 44.8. Same.baby cashmere socks— 2 imp, position 3.0. We rank well on this — short-tail wins.custom winter fashion hats— 2 imp, position 8.5.mongolian cashmere beanie— 2 imp, position 41.0. Inner Mongolia + beanie = niche buyer.cashmere beret— 2 imp, position 46.0.cashmere hooded scarf/hooded scarf cashmere— 1 imp, position 48.cashmere blanket scarf— 1 imp, position 47.bespoke cashmere shawl usa— 1 imp, position 83.cashmere scarf dubai— 1 imp, position 39.bulk cashmere scarves— 2 imp, position 48.5.wholesale cashmere scarves— 3 imp, position 59.3.cashmere scarf wholesale— 1 imp, position 33.wholesale cashmere beanies— 1 imp, position 53.cashmere beanie womens— 1 imp, position 52.cashmere beanie— 1 imp, position 57.cashmere hats, hats cashmere, buy cashmere hat— generic hat queries.wool cashmere beanie, cashmere bottoms, turtleneck sweater, cashmere pullover sweater— generic garment queries that pick up accessory traffic.
What this cluster tells us: the 100% cashmere qualifier is the highest-volume modifier in the accessory space. Buyers searching cashmere shawl without a qualifier are still mostly looking for 100% pure cashmere — the page that wins them must lead with that phrase in title, snippet, and visible H1.
Bucket 3 — Garment OEM and Private Label (106 impressions, 20 queries)
The OEM-and-private-label cluster is where the highest-intent buyers sit. These are the queries that lead to a PO, not to a comparison.
odm コート— 13 imp, position 14.9, 0% CTR. Japanese: ODM coat. Japanese ODM sourcing query. We do not have a Japanese-language ODM page; we should.cashmere sweater wholesale— 10 imp, position 38.6. B2B sweater query.100% cashmere pullover sweater vest manufacturer— 4 imp, position 12.0. Exact B2B product + factory intent.b2b garn anfrage— 4 imp, position 59.8. German: B2B yarn inquiry. German B2B buyer.pashmina moq— 4 imp, position 85.5. Buyer comparing MOQ thresholds across cashmere/pashmina.wholesale cashmere scarves— 3 imp, position 59.3. Same as accessories but with wholesale intent.cashmere accessories— 4 imp, position 87.0. Generic.accessories cashmere— 3 imp, position 73.7. Same.high count 100%cashmere factory— 2 imp, position 10.5.oem cashmere scarf— 2 imp, position 11.6. OEM scarf-specific.slimfit oem pullover cashmere women— 2 imp, position 12.5. Specific buyer query — slim fit + women + OEM + pullover.classic oem pullover cashmere women manufacturer— 1 imp, position 10. Same family.spring autumn oem pullover knit sweater— 1 imp, position 7. Same family.custom cashmere women sweater manufacturer— 1 imp, position 14. Same family.wholesale 100% cashmere women sweater knitwear— 1 imp, position 4. Same family.wholesale cashmere— 1 imp, position 66.wholesale cashmere jumpers— 1 imp, position 69.wholesale cashmere sweaters— 1 imp, position 55.cashmere sweater— generic, included for completeness.fashionable newstyle striped scarf factory— 1 imp, position 73.
What this cluster tells us: the buyer query pattern is consistent and predictable. OEM + [adjective: slimfit, classic, custom] + [gender: women] + [product: pullover, sweater] + [factory/manufacturer] is the dominant pattern. A Japanese-language ODM post and an English OEM factory guide are the two highest-impact pieces of content this cluster needs.
Bucket 4 — Quality, Grade, and Origin (57 impressions, 9 queries)
Smaller cluster but high commercial value. These are the buyers who already understand cashmere and are comparing sources.
cashmere grade a b c baby cashmere price per kilo luxury coat— 16 imp, position 5.6, 0% CTR. Page 1 position 5.6 with 0% CTR is a snippet mismatch problem. Our grade-explainance page is real, but the snippet does not surface baby cashmere or price per kilo — both of which are in the buyer’s query.cashmere quality grades— 4 imp, position 92.8. Generic grading term; ranks far down because we lack a dedicated quality-grades resource.cashmere scarf manufacturers in china— 7 imp, position 76.3.erdos brand china— 6 imp, position 8.6, 0% CTR. Page 1, no clicks — the page exists but the snippet does not match.erdos china— 6 imp, position 25.7.eerduosi china— 6 imp, position 54.8. Pinyin transliteration of Erdos.erdos official— 3 imp, position 6.0.erdos online shop cashmere— 3 imp, position 3.0. Same snippet-mismatch pattern as above.erdos clothing website— 2 imp, position 6.0.
What this cluster tells us: half of these queries are buyers searching for Erdos-the-city, our home base, and finding our brand by accident. The other half is buyers asking about grading quality — a topic our site has coverage on but with titles that don’t surface the right keywords in snippet.
Bucket 5 — Multi-Language Local Queries (54 impressions across DE / FR / JA / KR / CN)
The language distribution of long-tail queries is telling. Of 79 queries with at least 2 impressions, 22 are in English (511 imp), 1 in Japanese (13 imp), but most of the 54 non-English impressions are scattered across DE, JA, KR, CN — and these are the queries where local-language landing pages are not yet built.
German (DE): kaschmir turtleneck (58 imp), b2b garn anfrage (4), kaschmir mode direkt import (2), cashmere mode direktimport (1). German B2B buyers are actively searching in German, and we are not ranking in German.
French (FR): cachemire 2 fils ou 4 fils (34), cachemire combien de fils (9), différence cachemire 2 fils 4 fils (1). French buyers asking the 2 fils vs 4 fils question. Same fundamental 4-ply content gap.
Japanese (JA): odm コート (13), odm ピーコート (1), odm ダウンコート (1), odm ダウン (1), カシミアスカーフ (1), カシドス 生地 (1), カシミア スカーフ レディース 販売 (1). Japanese ODM/coats/cashmere scarf queries — substantial ODM demand signal.
Korean (KR): 캐시미어 모자 (10), 캐시미어 후드 (5), 캐시미어 머플러 (1), 몽골 캐시미어 가격 (1). Korean beanie and hoodie demand.
Chinese (CN): 女款amq披肩 (13), 女款披肩amq (8), cashmere 帽 (3), 羊绒 围巾 (2). Chinese buyers on a mix of pinyin and Chinese.
What this cluster tells us: there is meaningful demand in every major B2B locale except where we have built dedicated language content. Japanese-language site only has 40 posts (vs 90 for English), and the absence of ODM-specific content is the biggest gap. Same applies to French and German.
What This Means for Sourcing Teams
If you are a B2B cashmere buyer reading this list, the practical takeaway is: the queries that exist on Google reflect real unmet demand. The 30 lines of long-tail queries here represent buyers who are typing the exact question they want answered — and who — today — mostly find competitor directories or no answers at all. A sourcing team that monitors these queries over a 90-day window will know what their peers are asking for before the trade shows surface it.
For Sourcing Managers running an annual sourcing calendar, the actionable item is: open Google Search Console on your own B2B site, filter to the Queries tab, set the date range to the past 90 days, export to CSV, sort by impressions descending, and apply this same intent-bucketing exercise. The queries with high impressions and low CTR are your snippet-mismatch candidates. The queries with high impressions and rank-50+ positions are your missing-page candidates.
For our site specifically, we are using this exact dataset to plan the next 6 blog posts: a worsted-cashmere-yarn post (to capture Bucket 1), a Japanese ODM post (to capture the JA demand in Bucket 5), a French-DE/EN pair on 2-fils-vs-4-fils cashmere (to capture the FR demand), and a quality-grade post that surfaces baby cashmere + price per kilo in the snippet (to capture the immediate CTR opportunity in Bucket 4).
Where This Data Comes From
This query set is drawn from the erdosdx.com Google Search Console export, 2026-07 to 2026-09, filtered to queries with at least 2 impressions and non-zero position. The dataset includes 175 distinct queries and 661 total impressions across 6 languages. Position is an average over the 90-day window; CTR is calculated from total clicks divided by total impressions over the same window. The data is current as of 2026-10-08.
For sourcing teams who would like to see how their own B2B site performs on the same queries, send us the URL and we will run the same exercise against your domain.
