What quality control steps do you use for cashmere production?
Three-stage inspection: IQC (incoming material check on raw cashmere fiber micron and color), IPQC (in-process control during spinning, knitting, and linking), OQC (pre-shipment final audit including measurement, defect count, and packaging). Every batch is sampled and retained for 6 months for traceability.
What AQL sampling standard do you use?
We follow ISO 2859-1 / MIL-STD-105E AQL sampling. Standard level II inspection at AQL 1.0 (critical defects), 2.5 (major defects), 4.0 (minor defects). For premium clients we offer AQL 0.65/1.0/2.5 tightened inspection. Sample size determined by lot size and acceptable quality limit.
Can you provide third-party inspection reports?
Yes - we coordinate with SGS, Intertek, Bureau Veritas, and ITS for pre-shipment inspection (PSI) on buyer request. Cost: USD 250-400 per man-day, typically 1-2 days for cashmere garment orders. Reports cover AQL result, measurements, packaging, and carton marking. Reports sent within 48 hours of inspection.
What certifications does your factory hold?
ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System), OEKO-TEX Standard 100 (harmful substances), Good Cashmere Standard (GCS) by AbTF, BSCI (social compliance), Sedex SMETA, WRAP. All certificates renewed annually; current scans available in the Download Center.
Can I visit the factory for a quality audit?
Yes - B2B client factory visit appointments with 7-day advance notice. Visit covers dehairing workshop, spinning workshop, knitting workshop, finished product QC line, warehouse. Travel: fly Baotou (BAV) or Hohhot (HET), then 1-2 hours by car to Ordos. Most factories arrange airport pickup.
How do you handle defective products found after delivery?
Standard: replacement of defective units at no cost (buyer covers return shipping). Premium: 5-10% over-production included in every order for free replacement of small defects without return. Major issues: documented, photographed, and resolved within 5 business days. Each batch is traceable to specific fiber lot and production date.
